Rhyl & St Asaph Angling Association
River Elwy BEAT 1
Gypsy Lane and Lower Gypsy Lane
Gypsy Lane beat is our lowest beat on the River Elwy and is a short distance from the tidal stretch of the River, just upstream of the renowned Junction Pool on the Bodrhyddan Estate waters. Fishing is a mix of left and right bank. The Association owns this beat. Parking is available as shown on the map and a footbridge affords access to the right hand bank at Dol Afon Meadow.

Beat length is about 1900m inc. Spring Gardens and Roe Park. These are the next two beats which take our fishing right up to the A55 Bridge.
